Creative Block-Breaking Delay Using D-Pad Controls in MCPE

When breaking blocks in creative mode using the D-Pad controls in Minecraft Pocket Edition, there is a brief delay before the block breaks, similar to breaking blocks in survival mode.

 

This "breaking style" replaces how blocks instantly broke prior to 1.20.

 

This can be annoying when trying to quickly remove misplaced blocks, or tunneling through terrain, for example.
