Inventar cleared after going from the end back to the overworld

Just wanted to go back after I was in the end. After I went through the end portal, the items in my inventory were all deleted and couldn't do anything except move. I couldn't go back or destroy Blocks (with empty inv) because of the "freeze". When I restarted the game, I was in front of the end portal in the overworld (spawnpoint). I was able to play normally again but still didn't had my things.
