Cauldron display looks like dark lava

Summary

When a water bucket is placed in a cauldron, it displays a darkened version of the lava texture instead of the water texture. This changes if you add dye to it.

How to replicate

1. Load up a new world in 1.20.0
2. Get a cauldron and a water bucket.
3. Place water in cauldron

Observed result

Water texture in cauldron appears to be a dark version of the lava cauldron texture.

Expected result

Normal water cauldron texture displays.
