Trusted adult in Cybersafe: Privacy prodigy is not there. Stuck in first home room

When we try to start a new world of Cybersafe: Privacy Prodigy we're stuck in the first room because the "Trusted Adult" doesn't spawn in front of the gate/map for us to talk to them. 

 

We've tried this world on previous versions as well with similar results. We've deleted and restarted the world and haven't changed any of the world settings.
