Cannot Paste into Rename & Repair input field

Traditional Method and Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy steps:

With Minecraft Bedrock running in a Window

Open Notepad

Craft and type some funny name for [insert item] and copy it.

Return to Minecraft and using anvil place [insert item] into the slot and with enough experience, click into the Repair & Name box and press Control-V to paste.

 

Expected Result:

Jumping up and down for joy!

 

Actual Result:

Slumping in chair with much sadness

 

Can still paste into the chat area but no copy from there!
