Keyboard doesn't work for Minecraft Windows 10 despite working in other games

The mouse works fine, I can mine, punch, and scroll through the hotbar while the keyboard just doesn't work for this game in specific. Checked the keybinds, and they're all how they should be. Tried redoing them to see if that worked and the keyboard just won't work.
