Cannot type a lower-case "i" on a sign

When I placed a sign and typed in "i", in the middle of a sentence, it automatically made it capital. I could not get it lowercase.

What I expected to happen was...:

It should have made the "i" lowercase since it was in the middle of a sentence.

What actually happened was...:

It made the "i" capital.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a sign down.
2. Type a sentence with an "i" in it.
3. The bug will take place and the "i" will be capital.
