Minecraft Bedrock edition doesn't update to 1.20

My Minecraft for some reason stays at 1.19.83 and would not update to 1.20 this is quite a problem for me because I cant play on realms, with friends, or on most servers it. would usually give me the could not connect outdated client screen but it has been a problem since 1.17 where updates would be delayed for me. the launcher says that I'm on the latest release but I'm not.
