Loss of all items in inventory and enchanting points after logging in.

After disconnecting from server due to a bad connection, upon logging back in the next day all of my inventory and enchanting points are gone. There is clear evidence that I was blown up by a creeper. Another player on the realm found my stuff in a creeper hole, however I was not in the game to die. Its pretty upsetting to lose all of the stuff I earned along with enchanting points because of this bug. I have also had issues with progress not saving after a save and quit and coming back to the game. Not sure if this is all related to the update...
