Player stuck riding boat, horse, etc.

After attempting to emote while mounted on an entity (boat, minecart, horse, etc.) I was unable to dismount without aid (having a friend destroy the boat, or running the horse into water). Also, I was able to crouch while mounted. This has also occurred to others I played with.
