Shields are disabled in survival mode after throwing a trident

Shields are disabled in survival mode after throwing a trident, they can be re-enabled but require player interaction with an object.

 

For example. Eating, shooting a bow or crossbow, using a goat horn, using a spyglass, etc. They make the shield activate again.
