Beds disappear randomly when signs are placed on the sides

So I've placed signs on either side of a bed to create a nice looking bench but after sleeping on them or logging into the world I sometimes find the bed glitched where the bed is now invisible and or the signs have broken off  I've included photos below of a normal bed vs the glitched invisible bed with a broken sign
