When going from full block (soul soil) to partial block (soul sand) the player falls through the floor

When running through a soul speed bridge with a mix of soul soil and soul sand, I fell through the floor when moving from soul soil to soul sand. A similar thing happens with farmland and dirt, but in this instance instead of falling onto a block below I fell into a lava lake.
