Players can destroy blocks they started mining before dying

When a player starts mining a block and is killed before he ends mining and keeps their mouse button pressed, they are able to finish mining. This was tested with the experiments/next update toggle on. This could not be caused by client-server desync or lag, due to me being the host and there being no lag. This did not work every single time we tried.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start mining a block
2. Die
3. Keep the block-destroy button pressed and do not respawn

Observed Results:
The block breaks and drops. This might not happen all the time.{}{}

Expected Results:
The mining progress is stopped
