Attempting to break a block while it's being pushed by a Piston breaks the Piston instead

what’s happening(setup) : When a Piston is constantly powered by a red stone clock, and is pulling/pushing a block.

 

What’s supposed to happen when breaking the block from above: the block breaks like usual. The piston isn’t affected

 

What’s actually happening: The piston breaks leaving the block floating in the air
