Falling through blocks at y255/y256

When at y255 or y256 your character can constantly fall through blocks even when you dont see it on your own screen for me it only starts happening after i place a block while on that height or something else but when i eat something i really fall through the blocks maybe it has something to do with the old build limit but idk
