/fill command doesn’t work with string

I have been trying to place a string with the /fill command and it does not work. String doesn’t even get showed when you select a block to place with the /fill Command.   

 Steps to reproduce.

1. Type "/fill -24 181 -11 -2 181 11 string keep"

Then it will show an error.
