A dangerous exploit used to ruin leaderboards. (Speed increasing bug)

3 years ago an exploit was found in Minecraft: PS4 Edition Glide Mini Game, this was kept secret for a while just so we don't have anyone use it (we didn't use it either), a player "Motomeruu" has found it and is exploiting it over and over on every Glide map ruining hundreds of players' hard work on the Glide Leaderboards. I understand that Legacy Console Editions of the game are not updated anymore, but due to the severity of this bug and the purpose of preserving a game for what it is, I really would want to request for this bug to be fixed or for the player exploiting it to recieve a punishment.

(This also effects other Legacy Console Editions of the game but is primarily dangerous on PS4 and Xbox One due to them both having leaderboards)

This bug is done by restarting your race inside of a booster and getting perfect timing with the boost entry and the Restart Race, I will leave an attachment of the player's run who did it, he recorded his run and unintentionally made a good tutorial on how to do it.

Here is one of my potential theories on how to fix it: Possibly have it so the you cannot restart race within a 1 block radius of the outside of a booster.

I have also attached a screenshot of the PlayStation 4 Leaderboards with the player who used the glitch on it.
