Flat world has biomes and a large body of water almost looking like a tsunami

I logged in to play minecraft today and was in my flat world when I discovered that there was large bodies of water and biomes on top of them near my city in my flat world. It wasn't like this when I logged in yesterday so I assume it had something to do with todays update 1.19.80
