Head stuck in block when riding boat through 1.5 block space.

When trying to boat through a 1.5 block space, the screen just goes black and you can't see anything. This has been a feature for years. Really hope it's just a bug. It is this way on mobile, xbox one, and switch. I assume it has something to do with the changes to sneaking. Issue is present with the "next major update" toggled as well.
