Mouse cursor not showing when using keyboard/mouse on iPhone

When playing Minecraft with a keyboard and mouse connected, the mouse cursor seems to be displayed when opening the inventory on the iPad, but the cursor is not displayed when opening the inventory on the iPhone. It can only be operated with the arrow keys on the keyboard.
