The Item Book and Quill immediately Crashes the game when opened on Minecraft PS4 edition

On Minecraft PS4 edition, upon opening a Book and Quill, it immediately crashes the game. However, if a book was written before the update and is placed on a lectern. You can open and read it with out problem. This was not an issue in 2020 which is long after they cut support for this version so I'm confused on why Book and Quills stopped working. Please fix as soon as possible since this is the version I and many prefer and this bug effects every user of this version.
