Issue in Creative Mode

Yesterday after I updated my Minecraft app, I went on my Creative world and there was an issue with destroying blocks. When I try to destroy blocks in creative, it acts more like I am in survival mode. I checked my personal game mode and default and both are preset to Creative. I even closed the app out and refreshed it multiple times and it did not fix it. I even shut my phone off and that did not work. I would love it if you could get back to me as soon as possible as it effects my ability to create videos.
