Unable to play Spongebob DLC world

So, I just bought the SpongeBob DLC and decided to try and play it, I download it and click create world, however no matter how many times I try it just creates a regular Minecraft world. I check my worlds list to see the map there and try to play it however every time I try that it just tells me, "A newer version of the game has saved this world, It cannot be loaded." I even tried fully closing and rebooting the game which has done nothing. Please help.
