Fill command not working PC

Every time I try to use the fill command in Minecraft, for no reason at all it says "Cannot place blocks outside of the world". This makes no sense because I set the coordinates in the command that I am RIGHT NEXT TO and definitely not outside the world. 

An example of the fill command is  /fill 273 -56 -215 273 -57 -225 quartz_block

It will say "Cannot place blocks outside of world" for no reason. I hope Mojang makes some future improvements to their game before adding anything new to the game.
