Typing on Nintendo Switch in Split-Screen

When typing anything on Nintendo Switch, (Chat, Signs, or Book & Quills) in Split-Screen, the game freezes for both players and the keyboard takes up the entire screen.
Steps to Reproduce:

1. Play Split-Screen on Minecraft for Nintendo Switch.
2. Open Chat. (Or any other part of the game that requires typing)

Observed Results:
The keyboard stops both players from playing the game.

Expected Results:
The keyboard should only stop the typing player from playing the game.

Notes:
I don't know if this bug can be fixed, it might just be because of the Nintendo Switch UI itself.
