The game will not let me enter/play, no matter what I do.

No matter what I do, Minecraft will not let me enter/play the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game before, and that did not work. No matter what I open the game through, it does not open. I do not know what else I could possibly do, other than uninstall the game and not reinstall it. Athough I really do not want to do that, given that i had paid for it. I would seriously appreciate some help or advice on what i should do. I would EXTREMELY appreciate if somebody could tell me How to fix this.
