Multiplayer problem between ps5 and ps4

I'm having problems with multiplayer. Whenever friends invite me to a world, I can join. Then everything works normally. At some point the game just freezes for me, so I can only walk through the world. I can't access the inventory. However, I can beat my teammates even though I can't see them. The multiplayer is not playable. I ask for help. My friends play PS4 while I play PS5.
