Issues with controller use on bedrock PC

All of my controller settings are default, but goes nutz throughout the gui. My pointer goes so fast that it's hard to select things. In game my a button brings up chat. My b button does jump/crouch at the same time. When I look left or right my guy goes in circles. Game just not playable.
