Multiplayer freezes while Switch keyboard is open

In a multiplayer game hosted by a Nintendo Switch, when the keyboard is open on the host's Switch (e.g. when typing in chat), the game freezes for all players.

 

The game resumes again as soon as the keyboard is closed.

 

It makes playing games hosted by a Switch a rather poor experience when the host is typing a lot.

Steps:

1. Host a game on a Nintendo Switch
2. Join the hosted game from any other platform
3. Open the keyboard on the Switch (e.g. type in chat)

Expected: Game continues smoothly

Actual: Game freezes for all players while keyboard is open.
