Worlds from templates set to earlier versions than 1.19 cannot craft Netherite gear

If you've purchased a world template from the Minecraft Marketplace that is set to a version of Minecraft that is anything before 1.19 you cannot create Netherite Gear.

Steps to Reproduce:

Maps Tested:

• Skyblock by Nitric Concepts. Version: 1.16
• Advanced Weapons RGB by 4KS Studios Version: 1.18
• Hacker Labs by Waypoint Studios Version: 1.17
    

1. Load any World Template that is not in version 1.19 (see examples above)
2. Acquire materials to upgrade a diamond item to netherite
     a. I switched to creative, acquired a smithing table, a diamond sword, and a netherite ingot
3. Try to use a Smithing Table to upgrade gear to Netherite

Observed Results:

The Smithing Table does not recognize the proper recipes as valid and you cannot create Netherite Gear

Expected Results:

I should be able to use diamond gear + a netherite ingot in a smithing table to create netherite gear.

Affects any .mctemplate with a world version pre 1.19 ... turning a .mctemplate into a .mcworld will resolve the issue as it will load in the client version.

Update:

Content on the Marketplace is version locked. Always has been. However, that doesn't mean my survival spawn I purchased that has no BP/RP modifications to the game AND does have netherite gear in it should not be craftable.

 

Content by Minecraft/Mojang is more adventure-based maps so that isn't a fair test as I am not playing survival in those maps (also those maps are still made by other partners anyway).

I guess the real issue is not necessarily just Marketplace Maps (although that's the real use case for what's affected) But ANY map created with a .mctemplate version set to anything before 1.19 does not work as it should. Versions with Netherite Gear cannot make Netherite Gear.
