Hitbox dosnt move when crouching

What i did:
I looked at a block and crouched.

What should happen:
When the crosshair leaves the previous block the hit box of the newly aimed block should be visible.

What happens:
the offset of crouching isnt there so the old block is still selected instead of the block that the crosshair looks at.
