Bedrock,switch,realms after latest update game starts to lag bad and then eventually hust freezes

Realm on bedrock version. All players on switches. Game gets very laggy and starts freezing. Eventually it will either just stay frozen or freeze and crash. "Communication error"  keeps popping up throughout the game as well. If you stand idle for too long it will crash as well. Did not do this before the update.
