Freezing while opening crafting menu or inventory while playing splitscreen

Whenever someone opens up the crafting menu or inventory all players start to experience lag and freezing. Also while this is happening blocks that are mined will reapear freezing the game for a few seconds. This problem occurs on Xbox one s during splitscreen. Thank you
