Game immediately crashes after the latest update (xperia-sp)

After launching the game, Im having a few moments of black screen and then im immediately thrown back with an error message that „Minecraft has stopped working”.

I tried to opt-in for the beta and while the game runs for a few minutes with that version, it still crashes anyway
