Farmland Damage Tick

While playing Minecraft bedrock, on farmland, if I were to walk onto a full black, for a split second, it would show the bubbles above my hunger bar. The bubbles would shortly disappear followed by one tick of suffocation damage. I have only ever noticed this when walking off of farmland. It happens so often that one time it brought me down to half health in a matter of minutes.
