Storage management error bug

I was in the middle of the game when I am kicked from my world. I receive a message saying there is no more storage on my device to save new changes, even though I've played Minecraft when there was no storage on my device. I cannot access any of my worlds. However, when I close the game and reopen it, I can continue to play the game with no issue. I have never experienced this before.
