Minecraft Causing crashes with itself and outside applications.

When using Minecraft in windows mode, when moving between monitors and accessing a different program, such as Discord, Minecraft will seize up, crash or force quit, then at the same time will crash the other program (Been Discord, Microsoft Word, Chrome, and Edge).

I don't have a screenshot or video recording of the information but can tell you more about the environment. 

My PC is less than 1 year old. I own a realm which we are playing on that two add-ons are on the realm. Typically, I will have MC on for long durations, as it almost seems like there's a memory leak or something similar that is causing my PC to freeze up. 

As an example, right now, I left the PC on overnight with Minecraft on (afking at a farm) and now I can't type in Discord, however, was able to pull up a new session of Edge to add this ticket in. 

The other item, I uninstalled MC, and reinstalled to try to fix this, but now the Minecraft Launcher cannot be reinstalled. I have provided a screenshot for that error.

 

Are the two issues related? I recall seeing bugs that the latest version has caused crashes to occur and I didn't have problems prior to this latest release.
