No friends showing up via cross platform and they can't see me or my worlds.

I play on my MacBook and every time I want to play with friends I can't. I've tried inviting them and they have gotten nothing on their ends. I don't show up in their friend list and they don't show up in mine. The dressing room is also infinite loading. It's also saying I've been signed out. But the game plays perfectly fine.
