Trying to break the block while brushing stops brushing

Summary:
Trying to break the block while brushing stops brushing. Brushing animation continues but no sound or particles and Suspicious Sand stops brushing. In Java, brushing continues after attempting to break a block.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Brush the Suspicious Sand.
2. Continue brushing and try to break the block (or "attack" the block).

Observed results:
The brushing is stopped.
*attempt to break the block is also unsuccessful

Expected results:
The player does not stop brushing.
