Using d-pad in inventory causes lag

When using the d-pad to navigate the inventory on the Nintendo Switch it causes the frame rate to dramatically drop. When holding the d-pad left it only moves once, while holding right on the d-pad causes the cursor to continue moving right until the button is let go.
