Pistons facing up wont get powered when the block on its face is powered by a repeater

when there's a piston facing up with a solid block on its face and a block next to the piston with a repeater running into the block that's on the piston face, the piston will not get powered...breaks a monostable circuit.Works on PC, NOT on PE
