Minecraft Crashes on launch

Minecraft Bedrock on my PC is broken. I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, updating windows, the lot and nothing has worked. The game refuses to launch- it shows the red MOJANG screen and then crashes. When I run it through "Minecraft Launcher" the same issue occurs. When I look at the Event Log, I can see a "Distributed COM Error" occurs every time I try to launch Minecraft. The error code is: "2147942405".
