Defender Exploit Guard - Kills Application
When Defender Exploit Guard is turned on. The Minecraft Bedrock Edition game is unstable.
This should not cause crashes of the game.
The fact that this causes a crash indicates a security risk as risky memory access methods are being blocked by a host-based intrusion detection/prevention system.
If someone was able to compromise Minecraft with an exploit, they would be able to read arbitrary memory that is not assigned to the Minecraft Bedrock Edition Applicaiton.
Defender Exploit Guard Overview (for reference):
Please see attached for my Defender Exploit Guard (settings.xml) configuration to assist with reproduction of the issue.
I have attached a copy of the Windows Error report (Report.wer) for application side debugging references.
