New update curupts my world

Hi, luckily i do have a backup. The world worked flawlessly on 0.14.2 however since i have upgraded to 0.15.6 my world has gotten currupted. However, when i restore the backup in 0.14.2 it worked perfectly. I believe the 0.15 update curupted my world. The world is a fairly large world with a lot of blocks to render. Is it possible that the size of the file could be an issue. Thanks for your feedback.
