Split Screen Player 2 skin randomized

When playing in split screen Co-Op, Player 2's skin is always randomized. Player 2 will have to recreate their skin each time we play. Their items and experience is there, but not the skin. It's only player 2 that has the problem. Player 1's skin always loads properly. I've tried everything I could find online, and nothing has solved the problem. At this point, I'm confident it's a bug within the game. Can you tell me how to solve this or when an update will be coming? Thanks!
