Fps drop and poor performance in mangrove swamp biomes

performance and fps decrease significantly when near or in the mangrove swamp biome, where my device only gets an average of "29fps in 5 render chunks, while in other biomes I can get an average" above 54fps even in the jungle biome.

trying to get close to the swamp, the fps drops even worse
