cannot connect to to anyone or a server

after receiving the 1.19.60.26 preview update, our xbox series x console and our windows 11 pc, are unable to connect to any friends worlds or any servers. this problem only persists in the preview verson of the game and not the current retail version. the current retail version works as it should
