When you pick the mushroom block it gives you the brown mushroom block instead

Me and my friend were casually building, and when I was using the mushroom block I realized it gave me a different block. The "Brown Mushroom Block", I doubled check with my friend on Xbox to make sure it wasn't my Minecraft glitching.
