Ghast spawn inside nether fortress.

To my knowledge, everywhere I search, it says ghasts only spawn outside nether fortresses. In the last day or two they have been spawning INSIDE my nether fortress. Please help. Hopefully this is a glitch and will be fixed. Thanks
